Ok so Z and I had a bit of a play around this morning. What we decided was that different sized circles were more exciting, that something should happen when you press the mouse buttons or if you hit the keyboard, that it shouldn't die off to a boring white screen ever and that the mouse shouldn't go off the edges of the page. You can download the new Windows version here and here is a small sneak preview (move your mouse over the rectangle below once it has finished loading):

The very first game
Hi. My name is Jon, I'm a computer programmer and I have a 6 month old son, Zac. He always gets very excited when he sees me using a computer and loves grabbing the mouse and throwing it around, so I thought it might be fun to try to make some computer games for him. My first effort is one where balls appear when you move the mouse around on the page. When Zac saw it this evening he nearly destroyed the mouse, which I took as a good sign, so I thought I might upload it to the web.
I've put a small sample below, if you want to try the FULL SCREEN version on your 6 month old then you can download a Windows version of the 'game' here. (Or let me know if you'd like a version for Mac or Linux, its quite easy I just didn't generate it).
Give it a go...
